Quick answers to the most common questions.
No. A prescription is not guaranteed. PepNationRX connects you with independent, licensed healthcare providers who will review your online consultation and medical history. At their sole professional discretion, the provider may issue a prescription, request additional information, recommend an alternative, or determine that treatment is not appropriate for you.
If no prescription is issued, you are entitled to a refund of the consultation fee. Please see our Refund Policy for details.
Compounded medications are drugs prepared specifically for an individual patient by a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy pursuant to a valid prescription. They are NOT FDA-approved through the standard drug approval process. Compounded drugs are not reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
We partner with pharmacies that follow USP compounding standards and conduct third-party potency and sterility testing. However, you should discuss the risks and benefits of compounded medications with your independent provider before proceeding.
No. PepNationRX is a cash-pay service and does not accept health insurance. Compounded medications are generally not covered by insurance plans. You may wish to contact your insurance provider to ask whether any services may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement, but we cannot guarantee any insurance coverage.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Patient Dashboard. Log in, go to your dashboard, and select "Manage Subscription." You can also email support@pepnationrx.com to request cancellation.
Log into your Patient Dashboard and navigate to Billing. You can update your credit or debit card on file through Stripe's secure payment portal. You can also access the billing portal directly from any subscription-related email receipt.
Yes. PepNationRX takes HIPAA compliance seriously. As a Business Associate of the licensed medical practices that use our Platform, we implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards as required by the HIPAA Security Rule. All PHI is encrypted at rest and in transit. We maintain Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with all vendors who handle PHI on our behalf.

Clinical services are provided by independent, licensed healthcare providers — physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants — who are licensed in your state. PepNationRX is a technology platform and Management Services Organization (MSO). We do not employ the providers and do not control their clinical decisions. The provider-patient relationship exists between you and the independent provider.
Your data is protected with AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.2+ encryption in transit. Sensitive health data fields are encrypted at the application layer before being written to our database. Access to PHI is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis and all access is logged and audited. We do not sell your health data. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
Provider availability depends on state licensing requirements and varies by treatment type. When you begin the intake process, you will be asked for your state of residence, and we will confirm whether services are available in your state before you proceed. PepNationRX is not currently available in all 50 states.
Your medical records are held by the independent healthcare providers who treated you. To request a copy of your records, contact us at privacy@pepnationrx.com and we will facilitate your request. Under HIPAA, you have the right to access your records within 30 days of a verified request.
PepNationRX is a technology platform and Management Services Organization (MSO). We do not provide medical advice or care. All clinical services are provided by independent, licensed medical practitioners. All compounded medications are fulfilled by licensed, independent 503A compounding pharmacies. PepNationRX acts solely as the designated billing agent for the medical practice that is the Merchant of Record for your subscription. This means when you see "PEPNATIONRX.COM" on your payment statement, it reflects this administrative billing arrangement — it is not a direct charge from a medical provider.
